This hot chocolate was inspired by the phrase, “Necessity is the mother of all invention.” I ‘needed‘ something sweet, but didn’t have enough sugar to bake anything. It was cold and snowy outside, which made driving to the grocery store out of question. The solution? This simple and decadent hot chocolate. It satisfied my sweet tooth and warmed me up!
Nutella Hot Chocolate
8 oz unflavored, unsweetened almond milk
2 teaspoons Nutella
2 teaspoons cocoa powder
1 teaspoon sugar
soy whip (optional)
*Heat milk on medium low. Whisk in nutella, cocoa, sugar until fully incorporated and cocoa is warm. Top with soy whip and dust with powdered cocoa.
P.S…. On my ‘to do’ list for 2011 … making homemade vegan nutella!
Must have been DIVINE!!!!!!!
Yum, Ive never had hot chocolate with nutella in it before, it sounds amazing! I know I would love it.
This looks absolutely scrumptious, esp. for the snowy weather we are having here!
Oh yummy….I have a little weakness for hot chocolate and the addition of Nutella could form something of an addiction. 😉
I’ve never thought to put Nutella in hot chocolate. Sounds fantastic – great idea!!
What a delicious sounding hot chocolate! I love nutella, and I also use ghirardelli cocoa! Yum!
