Tiffany M. Griffin
Tiffany's photo
Dr. Tiffany M. Griffin is a graduate of the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor with a PhD in Psychology, and of Boston College with BAs in Psychology and Communications. Dr. Griffin currently works at the US Agency for International Aid (USAID) in the Bureau of Food Security as a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist. Prior to her work at USAID, Tiffany worked in the US Senate on food, nutrition, and health policy for Senator Jeff Bingaman of New Mexico. Before that, Dr. Griffin worked for seven years as an academic in psychology, focusing on health, education, and decision-making. In 2010, Tiffany created the award-winning food blog, ComoWater.com, where she highlights self-developed veg-centric recipes. In 2011, Como Water, the blog expanded into a consultancy providing tools for individuals interested in living a "veg-centric" lifestyle. Como Water allowed Tiffany to build upon her two decades of living the veg-centric lifestyle herself, as well as her previous front-of-the-house restaurant experience in Boston, MA. Through Como Water, Tiffany has worked with organizations such as the National Center for Weight and Wellness, as well as brands including Newman's Own, Godiva, Nasoya, Lightlife, Sabra, and Amazing Grass. Griffin has been featured on the Steve Harvey Morning Radio Show and has catered a number of events. Tiffany leads Como Water membership services, as well as management and operations.

Adam Pyburn is a freelance media maestro who lives in Durham, North Carolina, not far from where he was raised. Along with editing videos, taking photographs, and building websites, he enjoys sharing meals with friends, taking naps, embracing the natural world, and learning as much as he can, as often as possible.

Christopher Russo has a Bachelors Degree from University of Connecticut in Management Information Systems, has worked in web technology since 2007, and has been freelancing/self-employed since 2009. Clients have included Hunter Boots, Cision, UMASS, Sacred Heart University, Tufts University, MIT, and the University of North Carolina. Russo, an avid advocate for sustainability, opened his second business, Tilthy Rich Compost, a composting enterprise in North Carolina in March 2013.
Luis Franco

Luis Franco leads visual web design, graphic design, and branding. Through his illustration, graphic art, and painting, Luis Franco synthesizes art and activism to form a genre all his own visual activism. Franco's visual activism embodies his strong urge to create and sustain justice and opens up the space for truth to prevail. By doing so, the characters and images he creates grab more than your attention; they spark consciousness. Franco's bold and engaging aesthetic can be recently seen in his pop art examining culture through the lens of popular Latino and Asian food products. Franco received his Bachelor of Arts in Art at North Carolina Central University with a concentration in Visual Communications and a Certificate in Multimedia at The School of Communication Arts. While some may claim that life imitates art, Franco is dedicated to art changing life.
Meggan Davismeggan's photoMeggan Davis is Como Water's first intern and social media manager. Meggan is a pursuing a B.A. in International Environmental Studies at The George Washington University, with focuses in sustainability, economics, and communications. She is originally from Colorado, but now likes to spend her time in DC managing social media, eating good food, enjoying good company, and playing outside.
Tolulope AdewoleTolulope's photoTolulope Adewole is an intern with Como Water working on the Members' Resource Center and community based organization (CBO) engagement. Tolulope is an alumna of The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor with a BS in General Biology. She is currently an MPH student at Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Heath in Behavioral Sciences and Health Education department. Tolu is interested in eliminating health disparities here and abroad and hopes to do so through behavioral and structural change in underserved communities specifically in the metro Detroit area and eventually in southwest Nigeria.
Madeleine VarettoniMadeleine's photoMadeline Varettoni is Como Water's marketing and sales intern. Madeleine is currently pursuing her B.B.A with a duel concentration in International Business and Marketing at the George Washington University School of Business where she is actively involved as a student ambassador. Madeleine is originally from Northern NJ and currently live in Washington D.C.. She is an avid supporter and volunteer for the American Cancer Society and enjoys cooking, yoga, and knitting in her free time.
Rachel WeitzmanRachel's photoRachel Weitzman is Como Water’s Marketing and Business Development intern. She is pursuing her B.A. in International Affairs with a concentration in International Economics and a minor in Business Administration at The George Washington University. Rachel is interested in international marketing and food media and policy, and dreams of one day working or writing for one of her favorite food-media entities like the Food Network, Travel Channel, Travel & Leisure, or National Geographic Travel. In her free time, Rachel works as an editor for Spoon University GW and loves cooking, reading up on health and food-related news, eating out with family and friends, photography, running, hot yoga, and international travel.
Alexandra KistAlex's photoAlex Kist is Como Water’s Public Relations intern. Alex is actively pursuing a B.S. in Exercise Science with a concentration in pre-medical studies and a minor in Public Health at the George Washington University. Alex is interested in both health policy and journalism, and aspires to attend medical school and become a dermatologist. She is currently a sports reporter for the GW Hatchet and a member of the Health Leads Organization on campus. While living in DC, Alex enjoys writing, cooking, attending outdoor concerts, going to the beach, and spending time with family and friends.
