As most of my friends know, I’m not into making requests or asking for help (I’m working on it though!). But today I have a request for all of you. And it’s not actually a request for me. It’s a request for Japan.
Please head to www.thetomatotart.com to participate in the online bake sale that Sabrina has organized to benefit Japan disaster relief efforts. The concept is simple–You go to Sabrina’s site and check out all of the wonderful baked goods from over 90 bakers (including yours truly!) and then you make a bid for your homemade item of choice. (I’ll be contributing one batch of the Clementine Almond-Chip Cookies on behalf of Como Water). You pay the bidding price (via paypal on Sabrina’s site) and the bakers ship you the baked goods. All proceeds will go to Second Harvest Japan.
Here’s how you can help/participate:
1. Head to thetomatotart.com to bid on baked goods.
2. Help to get the word out via facebook, twitter, etc.
3. Tell friends, coworkers, family members.
The bake sale is for one day only. So please spread the word and please bid on your favorite yummy treat! THANKS!!!
