Tropical Basil Smoothie

Tropical Basil Smoothie

This started as a pineapple basil smoothie. Then when I saw the  ripe banana in my fruit basket, this became a banana pineapple basil smoothie. But that was too long of a recipe title, so I added a mango and called this a tropical basil smoothie. Yes, yes, and yes! A friend was surprised that pineapple and basil go well together, but trust me folks–they are a match made in heaven (kind of like this smoothie and your belly!). Enjoy!

  2. Ripe bananas are always the best! Thanks for sharing, I will have to make this for breakfast tomorrow.

  3. How much basil are you putting in?

    • I start with about 5-6 leaves. You can always add more, so you might want to build up to it! I like a lot of basil!
